Adding Social Value

We create social value from buildings which otherwise would have been left vacant. Our low-cost accommodation benefits many young professionals and keyworkers. When a property is not suitable for domestic use we provide temporary space for charities at peppercorn rates, supporting them to flourish.

It is the mission of some of our charity partners, such as AudioActive and Proposition Studios, to support socially and economically disadvantaged people into the next stage of their careers and lives.

Ensuring properties are used instead of languishing empty creates social value for the neighbourhood. Lights being used by the occupants and the outside of a property kept in a good state of repair help to prevent there from being a hole left when a building is without a rent paying tenant.

Our live-in guardians and charity partners support local businesses with their custom, where there may have been a reduction of customers following a long-term large office or industrial premises tenant vacating a site.
