Supporting Arts and Ecology

Since our very founding we have been passionate about protecting the living world. Oaksure’s founders established processes for building management that would minimise consumption, reduce waste, maximise recycling, and improve the carbon footprint of the buildings we manage. We are currently transitioning into use of smart building technology to further reduce the ecological impact of the buildings we manage.

We use domestic waste contractors that have a zero to landfill policy. We ensure that all of the utilities infrastructure we manage is supplied by energy companies that are 100% renewable electricity and gas. We aim to reuse materials whenever possible and avoid using materials which are hazardous to living environments. We also use utilities providers that provide energy from 100% renewable sources.

We provided donations, administrative support and buildings at peppercorn rates to help setup Proposition Studios, an arts and ecology charity whose mission is to support economically challenged artists and provoke transformational dialogue about humanities relationship with the living world. We now have a partnership with Proposition Studios, providing them with space at peppercorn rates that help them achieve this mission.
